Samuel ‘Jack’ Burrow III, DDS, MS

Jack BurrowDr. Samuel ‘Jack’ Burrow completed his undergraduate studies and received a degree in engineering from North Carolina State University.  He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and his Master of Science degree in Orthodontics from the University of Kentucky.

Dr. Burrow has been practicing orthodontics in Charlotte, NC since 1979 and is currently serving patients in his practice at Burrow & Case Orthodontics.

In addition to creating beautiful, healthy smiles for families in the Charlotte area, Dr. Burrow is a published author and currently has numerous articles in print in the American Journal of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics, Angle Orthodontist, American Journal of Clinical Orthodontics and Seminars In Orthodontics on Friction, Bio Mechanics and Facial Balance.

He also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill School of Orthodontics and is actively engaged in clinical research and training of future orthodontists.

Dr. Burrow is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a member of the following organizations:

  • American Association of Orthodontists
  • Southern Association of Orthodontists
  • North Carolina Dental Society
  • Charlotte Dental Society

Dr. Burrow believes that giving back to the Charlotte community is an important responsibility and he does so through his involvement with the Crossnore Home for Children.

Dr. Burrow is married to Susan Cooper Burrow, a Charlotte native and they have four children.  In their spare time, the Burrow family enjoys spending time outdoors, playing tennis, snow skiing and traveling.
